The initiative aims to promote specialised musical training in the Baroque repertoire, to explore the techniques of historical performance practice, and to foster cultural exchange between Italian and international musicians. Depending on requirements, lessons may be held in Italian, English, German, French or Spanish.
Participation is open to musicians with a degree, conservatoire students and professionals in the field who are aged 35 or under. The maximum number of participants is set at 20 students. Any chamber ensembles will be considered as a single student. Auditors may attend the lessons free of charge.
Participation is subject to selection by the tutor, which will be based on
the curricular and artistic documentation specified below. A certificate of attendance will be issued at the end of the Masterclass. The five-day programme will include individual and group lessons on organ, harpsichord and vocal repertoire, study sessions on historical instruments and in-depth exploration of Baroque performance practice, with a particular focus on the works of Antonio Vivaldi.

FINAL CONCERT
At the end of the lessons – on Tuesday 22 September at
the Church of San Pietro in Verona, starting at 6 pm
– the Masterclass students will take centre stage
in a final concert open to the public.

• €80 per day
• €250 for the entire Masterclass

To take part in the Masterclass, please email the relevant form to masterclass@fraumusika.eu by 31 July 2026, attaching your academic and artistic CV and a video featuring 1 or 2 pieces of your choice, with a total duration of no more than 20 minutes.

Baroque singing and basso continuo
Repertoire of the student’s choice drawn from the works of Antonio Vivaldi: Motets, Cantatas, Operas for the theatre
and the Oratorio Juditha Triumphans
In addition to this repertoire, students will have the opportunity to study a piece of their choice with Maestro Marcon, which they wish to explore in greater depth.
